It took me quite a while to go this big step and open up to this community. Not only that I thought it would be unnecessary and needless to write a comment here - no, I was additionally of the opinion to hide myself behind a fake picture or "avatar" in new definition. My eyes were opened by a courageous young man, 18 years of age, who has all the power, strength and the heart at the right place to stride ahead. He shows his face and tells in all frankness that it is him. Proud and upright. And I asked myself how spineless - especially in my age - I am, compared to this wonderful teenager and decided to regain my spine. Completely. So here I am, Stefan, 62, born in Germany and partially grown up in the US, retired officer of the German army, graduated historian and political scientist. And the new avatar picture is me.

I'm here because I miss the past. My past. When I was young and healthy, in a long lasting relationship and everything was achievable. Enjoying youth (and I'm only talking about the old enough, the legal ones) is nothing we have to be ashamed of. It is a reminiscence of being young ourselves, enjoying and remembering this as an important part of life. That I connect it with porn - like everyone else here - might maybe questionable but fits right into the line of arguments and history of gay life.

So fellows, guys, comrades, sweethearts or however you want to be called - rediscover your spines and stand by what you are...gay and absolutely normal. I now did. And I'm happy and thankful (😘...G!)
